I like the color palette for both posters. I think the first poster need more contrast tho. the book and clothes blends because of lack of contrast. Also work more on the lady's hand. Another thing I think the text is too compact. maybe you can shorten your words or make it to 3 lines instead of 2 lines to give some breathing space.
As far as poster 2 goes, I would like to see you work more on the person in the middle. I like where it's heading tho.

I corrected based on other classmates' feedback.
For the first poster, I want to focus on previous WPA poster style.
I just changed figure and used same color.
Second one, I want it to be simple and using different color font.
